Grace Note Publications welcomes you to its collections of books and audio in Gaelic and Scots. Its aim is to create resources to preserve the uniqueness culture of Scotland. In the past few years Grace Note has released: 

  • 10 titles of the Tales of Beatrix Potter in Scottish Gaelic  in hardback and audiobooks, 
  • Donald MacIntyre’s epic poem ‘Aeolus agus am Balg’ in Gaelic and English with an accompanying audio CD, 
  • the folklorist Margaret Bennett’s sound recording archive of her Newfoundland collections, Dileab Ailein &  Jerome Just one more Song! Local, Social & Political History in the Repertoire of a Newfoundland-Irish Singer. 
  • In collaboration with Eberhard (Paddy) Bort and friends of ‘The Carrying Stream Festival’ has released three books: Borne in the Carrying Stream – Legacy of Hamish Henderson, ‘Tis Sixty Year Since – The 1951 Edinburgh People’s festival Ceilidh and the Scottish Folk Revival and  At Hame Wi’ Freedom: Essays on Hamish Henderson and the Scottish Folk Revival
  • Furthermore, Grace Note has published a collection of Gaelic & Scots poems of Tom Hubbard in ‘The Chagall Winnnocks – wi ither Scots poems and ballants of Europe’  and of Lillias Scots Forbes in the ‘View from the Bench – my life in Poetry’, and Deò  by Marcas Mac an Tuairneir
